A delegation led by Meizhou Party Secretary Zhu Zejun visited the county of Dabu, in Guangdong province, on March 1, to take a look at culture tourism development in the region.

Accompanied by a number of local officials, including Dabu Party Secretary Lin Jianxiong and Dabu County Head Zhu Handong, the delegation went to Pingshan Terraced Fields in Dadong town and Baihou Tourist Town.

During the visit, Zhu was impressed by Dabu’s rapid tourism development and recommended that local government should invest more to diversify its tourism products, improve the tourism infrastructure, and protect its cultural heritage, such as ancient dwellings, and adopt competitive and compelling branding strategies to further integrate culture with tourism.
